Energy Stick

$27.00
Spark an interest in electricity and circuitry, and learn about conductors including your own body.

Completely safe to touch and handle, simply complete the circuit by touching both electrodes at the end of the stick simultaneously; causing the long-lasting LED lights inside to flash and the buzzer to sound. Release one or both of the electrodes and flashing lights and noise stop. Do it over and over again... it works every time!

But dont stop with your own body, try creating an electrical chain with a group of friends or classmates. Have one participant hold one electrode and another hold the other electrode. If everyone in the circle is holding holding hands or connecting, the power stick will indicate the closed circuit. But as soon as someone breaks the circuit, it will stop. How many people can you get to complete the circuit?

Bigger, better and more colourful than the Energy Ball, try testing other objects and materials for their electrical conductivity. It makes the perfect demonstrative tool for learning about circuits, and connects scientists, students, and even teams.
What You Get
Power Stick. Features a 19cm (or 7.5-inch) long tube with LED lights and a buzzer, and child-safe electrodes on each end. With a 4.5cm (or 1.75-inch) diameter, this toy is easy to handle.

How Does it Work?
Energy Stick operates exactly like an electrical circuit within a linear tube design, with safe-to-touch, sensitive electrons on each end. Filled with LED lights and a buzzer, both ends of the stick must be touched by something that allows electrons to flow through it to activate and signal a complete circuit. A creative way to learn more about electrical conductors and the transfer of energy, this toy makes it easy to experiment with various types of conductors, and promotes bonding and teamwork when groups form a common electrical chain or circuit.
